Getting
Started
This
section is designed to help you get started increasing your client base by
targeted direct mailing.
Q:
How do I start?
A: You start by selecting the municipalities or towns in which
you are interested in representing clients. From experience, we recommend towns
that are in geographic proximity to your office. back to

Q:
How many names should I start with?
A: It depends on which state you're in, however, if you've
never done direct mailing before, we recommend you start small and add towns as
you become more comfortable with the process. back to top
Q:
Great, I know where I want to send my letters, what next?
A: Next, create a letter to your prospective client. The
letter needs to be concise and clear. Perhaps your clients have brought in
letters that you can use as an example. However, the most important element of
the letter is TRUTH. The letter should be created in a word processing program
such as Microsoft Word. back to top
Q:
Are there specific requirements for the contents of the letter?
A: CourtClerk.net is not qualified to provide legal advice.
However, we suggest you review the Rules of Professional Conduct for your
state. back to top
