General information regarding the content of a letter
Rule 7.1 Communications Concerning a Lawyer's Services

No material misrepresentations

No lawyer may pay for the advertising of another lawyer not in the same firm,
unless that relationship is disclosed in the communication, as well as any
possibility the paying attorney will be involved in the case
Rule 7.3 Direct Contact with Prospective Clients

Communication must let recipient know if an attorney other than the one whose
name appears in the communication will be handling the case

Copies of communication and envelope must be kept for 4 years after it is
disseminated
Rule 7.4 Communication of Field of Practice

Lawyer may state they are a specialist in accordance with Rule 7.1

Any advertisement in which a lawyer states they are "certified" in a certain
area, must contain the disclaimer "Colorado does not certify attorneys as
specialists in any field."
Rule 7.5 Firm Names and Letterheads

Lawyers may state or imply that they practice in a partnership or other
organization only when that is a fact.
